The entertainment continues as Russell Howard embarks on his UK tour with 2 x megas and Michael Macintyre gets set for his Christmas show with 1 x mega. Goldfrapp take to the London stage with 2 x 7.5 tonners and Stereophonics gear up for their UK December shows with 1 x mega. Amex travel to Barcelona with 1 x 18 tonner and Sage head to Blenheim Palace for their year-end results and gala dinner with 1 x mega. The Clothes Show heads to the NEC with 2 x megas, illusionists The Twins, head out on their UK tour with 2 x megas, and arrangements for New Years Eve celebrations are well and truly underway as the 02 prepares to receive 2 x megas for its party at the end of the year.
As Asia’s demands begins to take the production industry by storm, KB Event’s project management team prepare multiple air freight shipments to Doha for the World Petroleum Conference, opening and closing ceremonies and ROTA. Meanwhile, as Alan Carr and Lee Evans continue their UK tours, 10 megas head to Milan for HP, 2 x megas load into the Royal Albert Hall for Classical Spectacular, Drumchasers continue their UK tour in 1 x mega, and 2 megas head to Wembley and the O2 for the Spanish Horse show and the ATP tennis. Finally, party season begins with 2 of the first of many megas, head to Glasgow.
While Lee Evans continues his 7 truck tour, Alan Carr sets out with 5 megas on the first leg of his UK tour. The Corporate market begins to ramp up as 3 x megas and 3 x 18 tonners load into Battersea for Samsung and the Institute of Directors begin the first of their Accenture Autumn Presentations in Manchester, with 1 x mega. Further afield, 3 x megas travel to Tunisia for an internal ministry event and 4 travel to Milan for Vertu. 2 x megas travel to Cardiff for Michael Jackson’s tribute concert and with the onset of the music awards season, 1 x mega travels to Glasgow for the mobos and another travels to Belfast for the MTV EMA’S.
With not a road left untraveled, KB’s Nottingham and London wheels kept turning as the festival season reached its peak. As normal business continued, T4, T in the Park, Hyde Park Calling, Wakestock, Sonisphere, Lattitude, Kendal Calling and Womad used between 2 and 5 mega’s each for production. In addition, events at Alton Towers and the Ice Cream Festival and dedicated vehicles for the EMO roadshow, Portishead and UB40, added to the month’s spectacular music projects. The classical outdoor music season calls upon the London fleet moving out of July and into August, with 2 x 18 tonners booked for each Audley End, Somerset House and Henley and 2 x 26 tonners travelling to Kenwood House.
