KB Event is celebrating 30 Years – Established 1992

KB Event was established in 1992 to offer the corporate, music, live-event and entertainment industries a logistics service unlike any other on the market. In addition to a proactive and can-do approach to its wheeled operations, KB set itself apart from its competitors by offering its client base bespoke logistics solutions, including on-site and full management packages. In 1997, having expanded exponentially in its first 5 years of trading, KB Event moved into providing air and sea freight services and became a one-stop shop for worldwide events.

Since its inception, KB Event has expanded on its initial concept of tailored project management solutions, and, as well as a core team of office-based and on-the-road driving staff, KB Event offer HOD’s and on-site teams to work alongside production and tour personnel to oversee the management of a project’s logistics, from its initial scheduling through to its delivery and final conclusion.

In 2008, KB Event became the first event logistics company to gain an environmental accreditation for its operations, and the Company continues to remain at the forefront of event hauliers for sustainability, having been the first to use non-palm oil HVO Biofuel on events in 2020, and going on to receive IQ magazine’s Green Guardians award 2022.

Post BREXIT, following the opening of KB Event’s depot in the Republic of Ireland, KB Event’s CEO and MD were instrumental in finding a reverse easement solution to the crippling cabotage issues surrounding the BREXIT deal, which ultimately resulted in the continued fulfilment of European tours by UK and EU based event trucking specialists like KB Event.

2022 saw KB Event celebrate its 30th anniversary. The wealth of experience and expertise across our teams coupled with the addition of several new vibrant and enthusiastic members sees KB Event continue to be one of the best and most forward thinking in its field.
