The 2018/2019 season once again saw KB Event working closely with Qdos on their UK Pantomimes, with KB Event providing in excess of 150 moves between November and February from Qdos’ main warehouses and suppliers, to theatres up and down the country. Planning is already underway for the 2019/2020 season.

The music and touring side of the business continues to grow. After the challenges and success of Ed Sheeran’s Divide stadium tour last year – which saw 52 KB artics moving Production, Staging, Merch, Support and catering across the UK, Ireland and Europe – KB Event is already preparing for the last run of Ed Sheeran shows this year, which takes in the UK, Iceland, Russia and Europe. We are also delighted to have been the trucking company of choice for George Ezra on his UK tour with 10 KB artics traveling up and down the country during March & April. George (and KB!) go back out to Europe in May with before continuing on to the summer festivals George is already confirmed for. Other music events this year have included Collabro, BFMV, The Streets, and The Brits. As we write, preparations are underway for confirmed tours for Rod Stewart, Kelly Jones’ Solo Tour, The Stereophonics, Anne-Marie, Katherine Jenkins, Tom Chaplin, Passenger, and the eastern sensation, BTS.

Our corporate year closed on a high with Sports Personality of the Year, and the New Year’s Eve fireworks, and began almost immediately at the start of 2019 with 21 trucks Davos for WEF, and shortly afterwards, in excess of 40 Trucks at MWC in Barcelona. Planning is already underway for forthcoming events including Adobe at Excel, which this year will be utilising 34 KB artics, The Sea of Thieves in Berlin, and Stanley Black & Decker’s Tool Fairs, which uses not only KB’s fleet, but it’s warehouse stock management system and crew.

With the addition of a second warehouse manager, KB are investing further time and money in their bespoke asset portal which allows clients to store goods on site and pick them remotely for shows. The system is already in use by two KB corporate clients, and discussions are underway with 2 more.
