At the start of the month a convoy of fifteen 45’ Boxes and Mega Curtain Siders, as well as an 18T, left our Midlands depot for Cologne which is host to Gamescom 2016 – Europe’s largest trade fair for computer and video games . The trucks, and a small onsite management team, will be away for 3 weeks as they work for our client on the stands for X Box and Call of Duty.

They were shortly followed out of the yard by another eight 45’ Boxes and a 45’ Curtain Sider which travelled to Paris as part of our work with a major global brand experience agency who were over there launching the new generation Scania truck on 23rd August.

Back in the UK we were darting between the sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire for several suppliers at V Festival, as well as loading in at the award winning Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire, Reading & Leeds, and Lakefest which was staged at Eastnor Castle this year.

Film 4 Summer Screen season is always a great summer event and it was nice to be back working at Somerset House for that again this year; it’s just a shame we always leave before the first film starts.

Up in Liverpool we provided the trucking for Tri Liverpool, a British Triathlon Championships event with the course running through the city and docks – it made us tired just watching them!

Our Moffett Forklift trucks have also been kept busy as they were down working as the Tall Ships arrived into Portsmouth to kick off the Sail Portsmouth 2016 Festival and also unloading barriers at Birmingham’s NEC.
