What better way to start May than with five days of celebrations at a distillery in Holland! We sent 7 Mega Boxes & Curtain Siders over to The Netherlands for the 325th Anniversary of premier gin and vodka distillery Nolet.

Meanwhile we had another team driving 3 artics over to Venice for a corporate event; always a challenging, but fun place to go. All production kit was cross-loaded from the trucks on to barges by our drivers and a local crew, so that we could to get it to and from both venues.

Musically, we’ve been out on the Adam Ant tour, working with MUSE during their rehearsals, at The Stadium in Olympic Park Wembley for the AC/DC gig, and also rolled out 25 trucks for production and staging for the start of Rod Stewart’s summer ‘Hits Tour’.

With our head office in the Midlands, it was great to get to work on Leicester City’s Premiership victory parade and celebrations in Victoria Park which drew a crowd of over 240,000 people.

Our drivers were once again donning their smartest attire as we were asked to provide trucking on at the prestigious BAFTA’s, hosted at the historic Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden for the tenth year running. We also got the opportunity to take in a bit of culture, trucking all the production for the Hay Festival.

As well as driving trucks, we also got the opportunity to drive a Monster Taxi! To launch Cadbury’s new ‘Big Taste’ range, they built a monster taxi which sat at 9ft high and weighed nearly 2 tonnes. We transported on one of our specialist low-loader artics to Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool and, using KB show drivers, even took a few passengers out in it for chocolate and a bit of sightseeing.
