There’s no sign of 2016 slowing down with a third of the year gone already; lots more miles have been clocked up across Europe with corporate events and private parties in some great places including Copenhagen, Cannes, Courchevel, Berlin, Malaga and Salamanca.

A sporty Spring bought us jobs at London’s Grosvenor House where football’s elite gathered for the annual PFA Awards; Adidas launched the new Team GB kit ahead of this year’s Olympic Games in Rio, and most recently the London Marathon; although thankfully we were able to drive the course rather than having to run it!

Mixing sport and music we once again headed for the snowy mountains of Mayrhofen for Snowbombing – the Glastonbury of ski resort festivals which is held annually in the Austrian ski resort.

Former Westlife singer Shane Filan had our trucks out with him on his ‘Right Now’ UK tour for the whole of March, as did Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, reunited from their Beautiful South days. We were also with Muse at the O2 Arena for their 4 day residency as part of the amazing Drones World Tour where they broke records to become the first act ever to perform to 21,000 fans at the O2.

And ahead of a busy summer of festivals for UK act Gorgon City, we provided the trucking for them as they played the M4Music Festival over in Zurich.

Stanley Black & Decker had six 45’ trucks to transport their latest hand and power tools for a huge bi-annual trade fair at Silverstone, and we were also a regular at the TV studios, working for Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain’s Next Top Model, Sports Relief and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show which was recorded live over several weekends at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane – although we’ve got to wait a few more months before we get to see it on our TV screens.
