KB Event Ltd Update!

Hello!

Firstly, our apologies that this section of our web site has been sparse of late. Moving forward, we will be adding regular news updates. In the meantime, however, here is just a glimpse of the last few months, and the start of 2019.

 

Following Stuart & Leanne’s decision to buy the main Pinxton site at the end of 2016, the office buildings and yard have undergone a complete overhaul. The ground floor of the premises, now occupied by the operations, compliance and finance teams has become a large, energetic and light open plan office. In addition, we have converted what once was the old traffic offices into a rest room and shower/utility room for the driving team. Our upstairs area is now home to the executive team, board room, and smaller meeting rooms. Work has also been carried out to the main car-park and the yard as a whole. The transformation of the site is something we are all proud of.

 

As well as investing in our premises, our staff structure has undergone some drastic changes, and necessary growth. In light of growing legislation and Brexit, we have formed a new, Compliance department. Andy Bell, our former Operations Director, has moved sideways to manage to the department, assisted by an administration and engineering team. Howard Dearsley now heads up the Operations team, and Natalie Wright has been promoted to Head of Finance. Last but by no means least, Cliff Zenker has joined the KB family as our General Manager.

 

We face the uncertainty of the next few months with a full order book, and a strong, enthusiastic team, and look forward to meeting you along the way.
